NEW YORK, NY – August 29, 2016 – Macy’s invites style mavens to get a head start on a fashionable fall with the official debut of oneblowdrybar at Macy’s Herald Square. Located “one below” within Macy’s multi-media millennial playground on the lower level of its landmark flagship store, this inviting new space will offer luxurious services for both hair and face in the form of wet and dry blowouts, up-dos, hair treatments and makeup services. oneblowdrybar re-imagines the department store salon concept with a modern and dramatic 1200 square foot salon. Warm wood paneling is accented by eclectic lighting fixtures and custom ghost chairs and each of the nine styling stations are in direct view of state-of-the-art television monitors and equipped with a personal iPad. Clients may choose to go sleek and smooth with the “Madison” or simple and straight with the “Chelsea” when deciding between a variety of customizable blowouts that begin at $40 with personalized makeup application and hair treatments starting at $45. Finally, in addition to assorted multi-blowout packages, one might be tempted to toss the hair-dryer with the $200 unlimited monthly blowout membership that is sure to turn heads.
“oneblowdrybar serves as the perfect accessory to the energizing line-up of services and amenities at Macy’s Herald Square,” states Patti Lee, General Manager, Macy’s Herald Square. “Our customers have always looked to us to provide an exciting and all-encompassing shopping environment, whether it be found in our beauty and fashion assortment, wide variety of dining options or in-store events and the addition of oneblowdrybar will truly complete our dynamic customer experience from head to toe.”
Says oneblowdrybar CEO & founder Aurelio Ventrella Jr., “I worked on the corporate side of Macy’s early in my career before making a switch to pursue more entrepreneurial endeavors. To be partnering with Macy’s on the opening of my second blow dry bar is a dream come true, and I couldn’t be any prouder of what we’ve achieved together.”
